Community Guidelines

Welcome to the MetaZoo community.
These Community Guidelines explain the standards of behavior expected across MetaZoo spaces, including MetaZooTCG.com, MetaZoo accounts, the Deck Builder, public deck sharing, Casters Cup Online, official Discord servers, official social media spaces, community events, and future MetaZoo-operated platforms.
MetaZoo is owned and operated by Meta Two Enterprises LLC, a Delaware limited liability company headquartered in Southlake, Texas.
By participating in MetaZoo services or community spaces, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, the MetaZoo Terms of Service, and any additional rules that may apply to specific features, platforms, events, or programs.
1. Be Respectful
MetaZoo is a community for players, collectors, fans, creators, tournament organizers, retailers, and newcomers.
Users are expected to treat others with respect, even during disagreements.
Do not harass, threaten, insult, stalk, bully, intimidate, or repeatedly target other users.
2. No Hate, Harassment, or Abuse
MetaZoo does not allow content or behavior that promotes hatred, harassment, abuse, or discrimination.
This includes attacks based on personal characteristics, identity, background, or protected status.
MetaZoo may remove content or restrict users who engage in abusive behavior.
3. No Threats, Doxxing, or Unsafe Conduct
Users may not:
- Threaten violence or harm.
- Encourage self-harm or harm to others.
- Share another person's private information without permission.
- Attempt to intimidate or endanger another user.
- Encourage real-world harassment.
Reports involving threats, doxxing, or safety risks may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.
4. Keep Content Appropriate
MetaZoo spaces should remain appropriate for a broad community audience.
Users may not post or share:
- Sexually explicit content
- Graphic violence
- Shock content
- Malicious links
- Illegal content
- Excessively obscene or disruptive material
MetaZoo may remove content that is inappropriate for the community, even if it is not specifically listed here.
5. Usernames, Profiles, and Deck Names
Usernames, display names, profile content, deck names, team names, and other public-facing content must follow these Guidelines.
MetaZoo may require changes or remove content that is:
- Offensive
- Hateful
- Sexually explicit
- Misleading
- Impersonating another person or organization
- Designed to harass or provoke others
- Confusingly similar to official MetaZoo staff, moderators, or partners
6. Public Deck Sharing
Users may create, save, and publicly share decks through MetaZoo services.
Public decks must not include names, descriptions, tags, or content that violates these Guidelines.
MetaZoo may remove, hide, rename, or restrict access to public decks that violate community standards.
7. No Impersonation
Users may not impersonate:
- MetaZoo staff
- Moderators
- Tournament officials
- Retailers
- Artists
- Community creators
- Other users
- Companies or organizations
Fan accounts, parody, commentary, and community projects must be clearly labeled and must not mislead others.
8. No Spam, Scams, or Fraud
Users may not use MetaZoo spaces to engage in:
- Spam
- Phishing
- Scams
- Fraudulent giveaways
- Fake sales
- Misleading promotions
- Account theft
- Malicious links
- Unauthorized advertising
MetaZoo may remove content and suspend users involved in suspicious or deceptive activity.
9. Cheating, Exploits, and Competitive Integrity
Users may not cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate systems, or interfere with fair play.
This applies to:
- Casters Cup Online
- Deck Builder systems
- Rankings
- Leaderboards
- Organized Play features
- Tournament registration
- Event tools
- Future competitive systems
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- Using cheats, bots, scripts, or unauthorized software
- Exploiting bugs or unintended behavior
- Match fixing
- Win trading
- Manipulating rankings
- Falsifying match results
- Evading disciplinary action
MetaZoo may adjust results, remove rankings, restrict accounts, or take additional action to protect competitive integrity.
10. Official Discord and Community Spaces
Official MetaZoo Discord servers and other official community spaces may have additional rules.
Users are expected to follow both these Community Guidelines and any platform-specific rules.
Conduct on official MetaZoo Discord servers, social media spaces, events, or other community platforms may affect access to MetaZooTCG.com, Casters Cup Online, Organized Play features, or other MetaZoo services.
11. Cross-Platform Enforcement
MetaZoo may consider conduct across official MetaZoo-operated spaces when determining enforcement action.
A violation on one platform may result in restrictions on other MetaZoo services.
For example, behavior on an official Discord server may result in restrictions on MetaZooTCG.com, Casters Cup Online, Organized Play features, or other community services.
MetaZoo will determine appropriate enforcement based on the nature, severity, and context of the conduct.
12. Enforcement Actions
MetaZoo may take action when users violate these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, or other applicable policies.
Actions may include:
- Warning
- Content removal
- Username or deck name changes
- Temporary mute
- Feature restriction
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account ban
- Removal from community spaces
- Restrictions from Casters Cup Online
- Restrictions from Organized Play features
- Platform-wide enforcement
MetaZoo is not required to follow a specific sequence of enforcement steps.
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.
13. Appeals
Users may contact MetaZoo support to ask about enforcement actions.
Appeals should include:
- The account involved
- The platform involved
- A clear explanation of the issue
- Any relevant context
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that an enforcement action will be changed.
14. Reporting Violations
Users may report suspected violations by contacting MetaZoo support or using available reporting tools.
Reports should include as much relevant information as possible, such as usernames, screenshots, links, dates, and a description of the issue.
False or abusive reports may result in enforcement action.
15. Changes to These Guidelines
MetaZoo may update these Community Guidelines from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted on MetaZooTCG.com with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued participation in MetaZoo services or community spaces after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
