MetaZoo has always been powered by its community.
We love seeing players, collectors, creators, artists, tournament organizers, retailers, content creators, and fans share their passion for MetaZoo through videos, articles, streams, websites, artwork, community tools, and other projects.
This Fan Content Policy explains what types of fan-created content MetaZoo generally allows and where the boundaries exist.
MetaZoo is owned and operated by Meta Two Enterprises LLC, a Delaware limited liability company headquartered in Southlake, Texas.
This Policy applies to fan-created projects involving MetaZoo intellectual property, including MetaZoo names, logos, artwork, card images, game content, lore, and related materials.
1. Our Philosophy
MetaZoo encourages fans to:
- Create content
- Share gameplay
- Build communities
- Discuss strategy
- Create educational resources
- Celebrate the world of MetaZoo
We want the community to grow through creativity, collaboration, and fan expression.
At the same time, we must protect MetaZoo's intellectual property, brand identity, products, and players.
This Policy is intended to strike a balance between those goals.
2. Content We Generally Allow
Unless otherwise prohibited by this Policy or applicable law, MetaZoo generally permits fans to create and share non-commercial content related to MetaZoo.
Examples include:
- YouTube videos
- Livestreams
- Podcasts
- Reviews
- Product openings
- Tournament coverage
- Strategy guides
- Educational content
- News reporting
- Community discussion
- Fan websites
- Wikis
- Deck databases
- Collection tracking tools
- Fan art
- Cosplay
- Community resources
In most cases, you do not need permission from MetaZoo before creating these types of projects.
3. Use of Card Images and Artwork
MetaZoo generally permits the use of card images, product images, screenshots, and related visual materials for purposes such as:
- Reviews
- News coverage
- Educational content
- Strategy articles
- Community websites
- Deck databases
- Collection tracking tools
- Fan-created resources
Artwork and images must be used in a manner that supports discussion, coverage, education, promotion, or community engagement related to MetaZoo.
MetaZoo reserves the right to request removal of content that exceeds the scope of this Policy.
4. Fan Websites and Community Projects
MetaZoo welcomes fan-created websites, databases, deck builders, wikis, and community tools.
These projects may reference MetaZoo products, cards, mechanics, lore, and game information.
However, fan projects must not:
- Represent themselves as official MetaZoo products
- Suggest endorsement by MetaZoo when none exists
- Mislead users regarding ownership or affiliation
- Use MetaZoo branding in a manner likely to cause confusion
We encourage fan projects to clearly indicate that they are unofficial community-created resources.
5. Streaming and Video Content
MetaZoo generally permits content creators to:
- Stream gameplay
- Create gameplay videos
- Review products
- Discuss strategy
- Cover tournaments
- Produce commentary and analysis
- Monetize content through platform features such as advertising, subscriptions, donations, sponsorships, and creator programs
MetaZoo claims no ownership over original commentary, analysis, or creative content created by fans.
6. Fan Art and Creative Works
MetaZoo welcomes fan-created artwork, cosplay, stories, videos, and similar creative works inspired by the MetaZoo universe.
Creators retain ownership of their original contributions.
However, fan-created works may not be presented as official MetaZoo products, official MetaZoo artwork, or official MetaZoo publications.
7. Limited Use of MetaZoo Branding
You may refer to MetaZoo by name when discussing, reviewing, covering, or supporting MetaZoo-related content.
Examples include:
- MetaZoo fan websites
- Community groups
- Strategy resources
- Content channels
- Educational materials
However, you may not use MetaZoo trademarks, logos, or branding in a manner that:
- Suggests official status
- Suggests sponsorship
- Suggests endorsement
- Creates confusion regarding ownership
MetaZoo reserves the right to determine whether a use is likely to cause confusion.
8. Commercial Restrictions
Fan projects should not compete with official MetaZoo products or services.
Without prior written permission from MetaZoo, you may not:
- Sell products using MetaZoo artwork
- Sell products using MetaZoo logos or trademarks
- Manufacture MetaZoo merchandise
- Create commercial products based on MetaZoo intellectual property
- Redistribute MetaZoo assets for commercial use
MetaZoo reserves the right to determine whether a project exceeds the scope of permitted fan activity.
9. What Is Not Allowed
To protect MetaZoo's intellectual property and community, the following activities are not permitted without written authorization:
Reproducing Official Products
You may not reproduce, reprint, manufacture, distribute, or sell copies of MetaZoo products.
Redistributing Official Assets
You may not distribute collections of MetaZoo artwork, graphic assets, logos, templates, source files, or other proprietary materials.
Creating Substitute or Competing Products
You may not create, publish, distribute, operate, or commercialize products, games, services, platforms, or experiences that are intended to replicate, replace, compete with, or serve as substitutes for official MetaZoo products or services.
Misrepresenting Affiliation
You may not falsely claim, imply, or suggest that a project is officially affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by MetaZoo when it is not.
10. Reservation of Rights
MetaZoo retains all ownership rights in its intellectual property, including:
- Trademarks
- Logos
- Artwork
- Card designs
- Branding
- Lore
- Characters
- Game materials
- Digital assets
This Policy does not transfer ownership of any MetaZoo intellectual property.
MetaZoo reserves the right to revoke, modify, limit, or withdraw permissions granted under this Policy at any time.

If you are unsure whether a project falls within this Policy, we encourage you to contact us before launching the project.
MetaZoo may provide guidance, clarification, or permission requests on a case-by-case basis.
12. Changes to This Policy
MetaZoo may update this Fan Content Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted on MetaZooTCG.com with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of MetaZoo intellectual property after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
