MetaZoo is committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This Refund Policy explains when returns, refunds, replacements, exchanges, and cancellations may be available for purchases made through MetaZooTCG.com.
MetaZoo is owned and operated by Meta Two Enterprises LLC, a Delaware limited liability company headquartered in Southlake, Texas.
By placing an order through MetaZooTCG.com, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Policy
All refund, return, replacement, exchange, and cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
MetaZoo reserves the right to approve, deny, limit, or modify any request in accordance with this Refund Policy.
2. Trading Card Products and Collectibles
Due to the collectible, randomized, and limited-edition nature of trading card products, all sales are generally considered final once products have been opened.
The following items are not eligible for return or refund after opening:
- Booster packs
- Booster boxes
- Starter decks
- Pre-constructed decks
- Promotional products
- Limited-edition products
- Convention-exclusive products
- Randomized products
- Other sealed collectible products that have been opened
Opening a product constitutes acceptance of its contents.
MetaZoo does not provide refunds, exchanges, or replacements based on the contents received from randomized products.
3. Unopened Trading Card Products
Unopened trading card products may be eligible for return within fourteen (14) days of delivery, subject to approval by MetaZoo.
To qualify:
- The product must remain factory sealed.
- The product must be in original condition.
- The product must be unused.
- The product must include all original packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law or approved by MetaZoo.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
Once a trading card product has been opened, it is no longer eligible for return except in cases of verified manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or fulfillment errors.
4. Non-TCG Merchandise and Accessories
Non-TCG merchandise and accessories may be eligible for return within thirty (30) days of delivery.
Examples include:
- Playmats
- Deck boxes
- Apparel
- Hats
- Bags
- Accessories
- Other non-randomized merchandise
To qualify for return:
- The item must be unused.
- The item must be in original condition.
- The item must include original packaging when applicable.
- The item must not show signs of wear, use, damage, or alteration.
MetaZoo reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet these requirements.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law or approved by MetaZoo.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact MetaZoo within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
Requests should include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging when applicable
MetaZoo may, at its discretion:
- Replace the item
- Issue store credit
- Provide a refund
- Request return of the affected product
Failure to report issues within the required timeframe may result in denial of the request.
6. Missing Packages
If tracking information indicates delivery but the package cannot be located, customers should first contact the shipping carrier.
MetaZoo may assist with carrier investigations when appropriate but cannot guarantee refunds or replacements for packages marked as delivered.
Refunds or replacements for lost shipments may be provided at MetaZoo's discretion.
7. Preorders
MetaZoo may offer products for preorder.
Estimated release dates and shipping dates are subject to change.
Customers may cancel a preorder at any time prior to shipment for a full refund.
Once a preorder has shipped, the order becomes subject to the standard return and refund provisions of this Policy.
MetaZoo reserves the right to modify preorder availability, quantities, release dates, or fulfillment schedules when necessary.
8. Promotional Items, Giveaways, and Organized Play Rewards
Promotional items, giveaway prizes, contest rewards, Organized Play rewards, and similar promotional products are generally not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or cash redemption.
MetaZoo may replace damaged promotional items at its discretion and subject to availability.
9. Digital Products and Services
Digital products, downloadable content, account-related purchases, digital services, tournament registrations, event fees, and similar digital transactions are generally non-refundable once access has been provided or the service has been used.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Casters Cup Online purchases
- Digital content
- Event registration fees
- Organized Play fees
- Account-related services
Exceptions may be made when required by law or approved by MetaZoo.
10. Fraud Prevention
MetaZoo reserves the right to deny refunds, returns, replacements, exchanges, cancellations, or future purchases when fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, policy manipulation, or suspicious activity is suspected.
11. Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact MetaZoo before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
MetaZoo reserves the right to contest chargebacks that are inconsistent with this Refund Policy or supported by evidence of successful fulfillment.
Accounts associated with abusive chargeback activity may be restricted from future purchases, Organized Play participation, Casters Cup Online access, or other MetaZoo services.
12. Processing Time
Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on:
- Payment provider
- Financial institution
- Card issuer
- Banking processes
MetaZoo cannot control processing times once a refund has been issued.
13. Changes to This Policy
MetaZoo may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted on MetaZooTCG.com with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of MetaZoo services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
