Partner Program Guidelines

The MetaZoo Partner Program is designed to build strong relationships with retailers, game stores, and online sellers who actively support the growth of the MetaZoo Trading Card Game.

Approved Partners gain access to exclusive purchasing opportunities, preferred pricing, private communications, promotional support, and other benefits designed to help them successfully sell and promote MetaZoo products.

The MetaZoo Partner Program is separate from the MetaZoo Organized Play Program. Stores may participate in Organized Play regardless of Partner status, provided they meet the requirements of the Organized Play Program.

Participation in the Partner Program is a privilege and may be granted, denied, suspended, or revoked at the sole discretion of MetaZoo.

2. Partner Categories

The MetaZoo Partner Program consists of two Partner categories.

Physical Store Partners

Physical Store Partners operate a physical retail location where customers may purchase products in person.

Physical Store Partners may receive access to:

  • Early product purchasing opportunities
  • Preferred Partner pricing
  • Product allocations
  • Private Partner communications
  • Promotional materials
  • Exclusive Partner promotional items
  • Partner recognition opportunities

Online Seller Partners

Online Seller Partners operate through online marketplaces, websites, livestream sales platforms, or other digital sales channels.

Online Seller Partners may receive access to:

  • Early product purchasing opportunities
  • Preferred Partner pricing
  • Product allocations
  • Private Partner communications
  • Select promotional opportunities
  • Partner recognition opportunities

Certain promotional materials and physical marketing assets may be reserved for Physical Store Partners.

3. Partner Benefits

Approved Partners may receive access to a variety of benefits designed to strengthen their relationship with MetaZoo and support product sales.

Benefits may vary by Partner category, participation level, product release, and availability.

Early Product Access

Partners may receive opportunities to purchase select MetaZoo products before public release.

Partner Pricing

Partners may receive preferred pricing on eligible MetaZoo products.

Pricing structures may vary by release, product type, and participation level.

Product Allocations

Partners may receive access to limited-allocation products based on availability and program participation.

MetaZoo does not guarantee allocations for any specific release.

Private Partner Communications

Partners gain access to private communication channels where MetaZoo may share:

  • Product announcements
  • Release schedules
  • Product drops
  • Allocation opportunities
  • Marketing resources
  • Promotional initiatives
  • Partner-only updates

Promotional Materials

Physical Store Partners may receive exclusive promotional materials intended to increase in-store visibility and customer engagement.

Promotional materials may include:

  • Window Clings
  • Posters
  • Counter Displays
  • Promotional Signage
  • Marketing Materials
  • Event Promotional Assets
  • Exclusive Partner Merchandise
  • Other promotional items as determined by MetaZoo

Exclusive Partner Promotional Cards

MetaZoo may periodically release exclusive promotional cards available only to approved Partner Stores.

Examples may include:

  • Partner-Stamped Promotional Cards
  • Exclusive Full Art Promotional Cards
  • Seasonal Partner Promos
  • Special Event Promos

Distribution methods may vary by promotion.

Partner Recognition

Approved Partners may be featured through official MetaZoo channels, including:

  • Partner Directories
  • Store Locator Listings
  • Social Media Spotlights
  • Community Features
  • Promotional Campaigns

Participation in promotional opportunities is not guaranteed.

4. Organized Play Relationship

The MetaZoo Partner Program and MetaZoo Organized Play Program are separate programs.

Stores are not required to become Partner Stores in order to participate in Organized Play.

Likewise, Partner status does not automatically enroll a store into Organized Play.

Stores wishing to participate in Organized Play must separately satisfy all Organized Play requirements.

5. Application Process

Businesses seeking Partner status must complete the official MetaZoo Partner Program application.

Applications may request information including:

  • Business Name
  • Business Address
  • Website
  • Contact Information
  • Social Media Accounts
  • Sales Platforms
  • Business History
  • Product Categories
  • Community Involvement

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Partner Program.

6. Approval Process

Applications are reviewed by the MetaZoo team.

Approval decisions may consider factors including:

  • Professionalism
  • Business legitimacy
  • Community reputation
  • Customer experience
  • Brand alignment
  • Prior business conduct
  • Community involvement
  • Ability to positively represent MetaZoo

MetaZoo reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its sole discretion.

MetaZoo is not required to provide justification for application decisions.

7. Partner Standards

All Partners are expected to conduct business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.

Partners should:

  • Represent MetaZoo professionally.
  • Treat customers fairly and respectfully.
  • Maintain honest business practices.
  • Support healthy community growth.
  • Conduct themselves professionally when interacting with MetaZoo staff, customers, and community members.

Partners are expected to maintain a positive and productive relationship with MetaZoo and the broader MetaZoo community.

8. Good Faith Requirement

Participation in the MetaZoo Partner Program requires a good-faith relationship with MetaZoo.

Applicants and Partners must not engage in conduct that MetaZoo determines to be harmful to the MetaZoo brand, community, customers, Organized Play initiatives, business operations, or Partner Program.

Examples may include:

  • Fraudulent business practices
  • Intentional misrepresentation
  • Harassment of community members or staff
  • Abuse of Partner benefits
  • Unauthorized disclosure of confidential Partner information
  • Conduct intended to damage the MetaZoo brand or community

MetaZoo reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke Partner status whenever it determines that a business or individual is not acting in good faith toward MetaZoo or its community.

9. Confidential Information

Partners may occasionally receive access to non-public information through Partner communications.

Examples may include:

  • Product release schedules
  • Product details
  • Allocation information
  • Marketing initiatives
  • Promotional campaigns

Partners may not publicly disclose confidential information unless expressly authorized by MetaZoo.

Violation of confidentiality expectations may result in removal from the Partner Program.

10. Partner Responsibilities

Approved Partners are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate business information.
  • Following Partner Program policies.
  • Maintaining a professional customer experience.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Respecting confidential Partner communications when applicable.

Partners are responsible for ensuring that all employees, representatives, and agents acting on behalf of the business comply with Partner Program requirements.

11. Suspension and Removal

MetaZoo may suspend or remove a Partner from the program at any time.

Reasons for removal may include:

  • Violation of Partner Program policies.
  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Misrepresentation.
  • Abuse of Partner benefits.
  • Repeated unprofessional conduct.
  • Failure to comply with program requirements.
  • Conduct deemed detrimental to MetaZoo or its community.
  • Failure to maintain a good-faith relationship with MetaZoo.

Removal from the Partner Program may result in the loss of all Partner benefits, allocations, discounts, and promotional opportunities.

12. Program Modifications

MetaZoo reserves the right to modify:

  • Partner requirements
  • Partner benefits
  • Product allocations
  • Discount structures
  • Promotional programs
  • Communication channels
  • Program policies

Changes may occur at any time and will be communicated through official Partner channels when appropriate.

13. Program Authority

Participation in the MetaZoo Partner Program is subject to the sole discretion of MetaZoo.

MetaZoo reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, revoke, or modify Partner status at any time.

All Partner Program decisions made by MetaZoo are final.
