Contest Rules

Contest Period

Entries will be accepted from August 1 through October 1, 2026. The submission period closes at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 1.

Eligibility

• The contest is open to all registered MetaZoo Casters.
• Limit one submission per Caster ID.
• By entering, participants agree to these rules and grant MetaTwo Enterprises the rights outlined below.

Artwork Requirements

• Physical submissions only. Digital artwork will not be accepted.
• Artwork must be created using traditional physical media, including pencil, colored pencil, ink, marker, watercolor, acrylic, oil paint, or other traditional art media.
• AI-generated artwork, digital illustrations, and digitally enhanced artwork are not eligible.
• Artwork must be the original creation of the submitting artist and may not infringe another person’s intellectual property or copyrights.

Artwork Specifications

• Artwork must use a 1:1 square composition suitable for a final print size of 3000 × 3000 pixels.
• Artwork should contain enough detail and resolution for a high-quality scan at the required dimensions.
• The featured Beastie or Aura must be the primary focal point.
• Background elements and supporting details should enhance the featured subject rather than distract from it.
• Do not include signatures, watermarks, logos, or text within the illustration.

Eligible Subjects

Each entry must depict one of the following MetaZoo Beasties or Aura types.

Submitting an Entry

The initial entry is one completed online submission containing one photo of the completed physical artwork and the required entry details:

• Full name
• MetaZoo Caster ID
• Email address
• Phone number, if provided
• Artwork title and eligible subject
• Social profiles or a personal art portfolio the artist would like associated with the entry, if provided

Finalist Verification and Mailing

Do not mail original artwork with the initial entry. Entrants selected as finalists will be contacted privately and required to:

• Provide work-in-progress photos demonstrating their artistic process.
• Mail the original physical artwork using the instructions supplied by MetaZoo.

MetaTwo Enterprises is not responsible for original artwork that is lost, damaged, or delayed during shipping. Original artwork mailed for the contest will not be returned.

Judging

Entries will be judged by the MetaZoo team based on:

• Creativity
• Artistic quality
• Originality
• Representation of the MetaZoo universe
• Overall suitability for the Fan Art collection

The judges’ decisions are final.

Prizes

Every eligible participant will receive one Fan Artist Participation Promo Card.

Finalists will have their artwork featured on cards published in a forthcoming Fan Art mini set.

Artists whose work is selected as a winning entry will receive:

• One Fan Artist Winner Promo Card
• An allocation of Fan Art Blister Packs

Prize quantities and distribution details will be announced by MetaTwo Enterprises.

Rights

By submitting artwork, each entrant certifies that:

• The artwork is their original creation.
• They own all rights necessary to submit the artwork.
• The submission does not violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

By entering, each entrant grants MetaTwo Enterprises a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to photograph, reproduce, publish, display, promote, and print the submitted artwork in connection with MetaZoo products, promotional materials, marketing, and future Fan Art releases.

General Rules

• One submission is permitted per Caster ID.
• Incomplete submissions may be disqualified.
• MetaTwo Enterprises may disqualify a submission that violates these rules or is deemed offensive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the MetaZoo brand.
• MetaTwo Enterprises may modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if circumstances require.
